WOODEN REVERSI GAME Reversi is a game invented and licensed by a Japanese teacher in 1971. Reversi, which means "turning upside down", gets its name from the fact that the pieces constantly change black and white sides. Black and white pieces are used in the game. At the beginning, four white and black pieces are placed on the four squares in the middle of the game board, respectively. The player makes a move by placing a piece face to face with his own color. However, with each move, he must capture one or more of the opponent's pieces. This capture must be done between the pieces of his own color in a diagonal, vertical or horizontal order. If there are opponent pieces among the pieces of his own color in the area where a player places a piece, these pieces change color and take on the color of the player's piece. The captured pieces change color and become the player's piece. The players' placement of pieces in the corners is of critical importance in winning the game. However, capturing the four corners does not necessarily mean that the game will be won. The preparation moves to capture these corners must be made carefully, without overflowing the squares in the middle. If the player cannot make a valid move, he/she is warned "You cannot make a move" and the turn passes to the opponent with the "pass" move. The game ends when all the squares are filled or when a valid move cannot be made. Package Contents 1 box of wooden reversi game
