WOODEN MANGALAManqala is a historical Turkish intelligence and strategy game played between two people. The game board contains 12 small pits and a large treasury where each player can collect their stones. In the Manqala Game, which is played with a total of 48 stones, players distribute the stones 4 to each pit. The 6 pits in front of each player form their own region, while the 6 pits opposite them represent their opponent's region. Players try to collect the most stones in their treasury and the game starts with a draw. When the player's turn comes, he chooses one of the pits in his region and takes the stones in it. He leaves a stone in the pit he took and distributes the stones in his hand by leaving one stone in each pit counterclockwise. If there is only one stone left, he moves this stone to the next pit. If the player gets the last stone in his hand to his own pit, he wins the right to play again. If he leaves the last stone in one of his own pits and there is no stone in this pit, he takes the stones opposite the pit and the stone he left to his own pit. The opposing player's turn comes. Mangala is an exciting game that develops strategic thinking and quick decision-making skills. Players try to fill their own treasury in the most efficient way by distributing the stones wisely, while trying to anticipate the opponent's moves. The dynamics of the game emphasize the tactical use of the stones in hand and the ability to analyze the strategies of the opposing player. Mangala combines the features of both entertaining competition and a thought-provoking intelligence game. If the last stone in his hand is dropped into one of the opponent's wells and the number of stones in the well becomes an even number with this stone, the player takes the stones in that chamber and the opponent's turn passes. The first player to finish the stones in his own area moves all the stones in the opponent's area to his own chamber. The stones in the wells are counted, and the set that collects the most stones wins. The game is played in 3 or 5 sets, depending on preference, and the player who wins the most sets wins the game.
